You are presented with a small box with a simple button on it, and are told that if you press the button on this box, you will receive $250,000.Now comes the Tricky part...
Someone that you do not know and have never met will die.
Will you push the button?
In the event that money is not a motivator, here is a different angle...
Suppose a terminally ill loved one will be totally cured, but with the same outcome: someone you don't know and never met will die...
Will you push the button?
see the comments AFTER YOU ANSWER for the twist.

The twist is as follows:
If you press the button, you will receive your money, or your loved one will be cured. The box will be recycled, and given to another person.
Someone you don't know and have never met.
Does that change your decision if you push the button?
Wow... That's pretty twisted. So, when you push the button, you die right? Ha... I wouldn't have pushed the button, so I feel pretty lucky. No one should be able to handle having a death on their shoulders, even if you don't know the person that died.
I would have to agree with Mona...I don't think I would have bothered to push the button either. One, that kind of money isn't much of a motivator for me to have someone die. Second, if my loved one is terminally ill and is going to die anyway...it's their time. Let it happen.
This is twisted...people that i don't know andhave never met die everyday. My mom was terminally ill...and how I wish I could have her here with me right now. If I had the chance to cure her this way, I probably would have pushed the button. The money is really not a motivator at all. Does this make me a terrible person?
